It's got the same great flavor and fishy tang, but it comes in a tube and lives in your fridge for whenever you need it. Same as the tomato paste in the tube. Enjoy!Urbanaughthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03676209016102141849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-77803513092064039312012-01-09T17:14:27.431-08:002012-01-09T17:14:27.431-08:00Ahhh... I guess the acid softens the kale so it's not so tough. Looking forward to giving this a try!Andrew @ Eating Ruleshttp://www.eatingrules.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-14786190770658838382012-01-07T23:22:14.946-08:002012-01-07T23:22:14.946-08:00I love kale!!! I like the idea of making this salad a little ahead to let all the flavors and textures come together. I think I'll try it that way and add a bit of fresh garlic to the mix. Thanks so much for this fun, new way to love kale!

Dena,
Gathering Flavors (http://www.gathering-flavors.comAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12845457416798619683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-48581353017544824482012-01-07T11:37:41.226-08:002012-01-07T11:37:41.226-08:00Funny you just now posted this! Although I like dinosaur kale ok, kale in general is not my favorite. I have been seeing raw kale salad recipes show up a lot lately, and thought I'd give it a try. Have you seen the technique of "massaging" the olive oil into the kale leaves and letting it sit aJoan Friedmannoreply@blogger.com
