It seems to do the trick with everything else, so hopefully it will work for this recipe! And yes, I am with you on the canned mushroom soup! I am trying to make cream of mushroom replacement for green bean casserole... The canned stuff has way too much crap in it! And I know there has to be a good replacement to make with the Vitamix :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09307987810958656004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-6119331918047524562014-01-07T08:21:24.441-08:002014-01-07T08:21:24.441-08:00Laura, so glad you and your husband enjoyed it. I sautéed some chopped mushrooms and set aside and add back in at the end. My husband said it was the best he'd ever had. The results are fine, but not like the Vitamix. The Blendtec is also expensive. Many people swear they get great results from a normal countertop blender, but I never went that route. Sorry - I didn't do any comparison testing - just went with friends' recommendations.Erika Kerekeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634307142866395851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-23935335632309981242011-11-22T01:10:00.580-08:002011-11-22T01:10:00.580-08:00Wow! must be such a great tool for the kitchen thi...Wow! must be such a great tool for the kitchen this Vitamix is! $400 is so expensive, do you know any processor that is not that expensive, but does gives you a nice result?Kevin Nortonhttp://www.womendietpills.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-85651250558373079522011-11-20T17:38:08.142-08:002011-11-20T17:38:08.142-08:00I feel your love, I finally broke down and bought ...I feel your love, I finally broke down and bought the mondo Cuisinart food processor. It was brand new and still had the literature tucked into the container. And I love that it came with a wet and a dry container so I can make flours!Lorihttp://www.lemonsandlavender.comnoreply@blogger.com
