We do carrots sometimes too. I've never tried rutabaga cooked this way - thanks for the suggestion!Erika Kerekeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05634307142866395851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-29676231690595602922016-07-13T15:43:39.722-07:002016-07-13T15:43:39.722-07:00Parsnips are a little carby for me so I use rutaba...Parsnips are a little carby for me so I use rutabagas and jicama for my fake fries. If you want sweet ones, carrots do a good job of that because they develop a great sweetness but much lower in carbs. That's just me. Parsnips would take my entire carb allotment for 6 hours so I don't ever use them.Ohnecluehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08308055172691797005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-39131792675634479612011-10-21T06:51:30.140-07:002011-10-21T06:51:30.140-07:00What a lovely twist on the classic french fry. They get a crispy, cheesy coating that is perfect for dipping in garlic aoli or ketchup!

Happy eating!Ellyhttp://www.tastetweakrepeat.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957782103763272580.post-22931656759449012942011-10-17T14:02:35.774-07:002011-10-17T14:02:35.774-07:00Great recipe!
