Second thing you need to know about me: I like to share. Food, recipes, tips, shopping lists. I've done a lot of short food-writing on my Facebook page and elsewhere, but this blog is going to be more, deeper, better, more often.
And third: I want input. Ideas. Corrections. Suggestions. It's no fun doing this in a vacuum. I want friends!

Future Erika (she's in 2013) is starting her own business and could use your help. Please remind her you're here, and take her through the upcoming years of stories and recipes you'll offer.
In case you're wondering, you'll do a great job making your posts fun for all but especially inspiring to those with cook's-block when they are stretched in other corners of life. Your honest tales plus uncomplicated, interesting, and delicious recipes will be a great combination.
You will get me back into my kitchen by inviting me into yours, physically and virtually, and I'll appreciate it. Do it for Future Erika, too!
